very dificult to go back to stock FW. It's very easy, you have to upgrade firmware without boot for example - ftp://tplink-forum.pl/orgin_bez_boot/

Give me screen shot form Wireless Settings. Very important is signal level on wireless card, install inSSIDer and check it.
