Omada gateways provide a DNS proxy, and that should enable local DNS entries, but that part of the DNS proxy function is missing.Even a basic '/etc/host' file for the DNS proxy would be great.

I agree, traffic should always be counted by DPI! If it doesn't match a know application bucket, it should count toward an 'unknown' bucket.
