How to setup a TP-Link EAP110 outdoor?

Hello everyone,
I am planning to buy a tp-link eap110 outdoor access point for my network. I have a static ip network and I would like to ask if anyone can help me with the setup. I am planning to use it as a wireless access point where my devices can access the internet through the AP. Can someone please help me?I really need this set up asap.

It's not difficult to set it up for a static IP network as long as the default IP of the EAP110-Outdoor (192.168.0.254) is not in use. Just connect to your network, set your PC/laptop temporarily to a free IP from the 192.168.0.0 network, connect to the EAP's web UI using a browser, set the EAP to the desired fixed IP of your network, set SSID / WPA2 key, revert the PC's/laptop's IP back to its original IP and you're done.

No ... it refers to an IP that is not in use in the network, it can not be the IP of the main router, nor the IP of any static device like any other AP, or camera or dvr ... nor any IP that is granted through the DHCP server, within its established range ...

Do you have a DHCP server in your network when you said you have a static IP? EAP110-Outdoor does not have any DHCP function. DHCP server is required when you need many of your clients share Internet via a static ip.

In a static network any client can use a static IP. A DHCP server is not needed at all to share Internet between clients set to a static IP. For example, I never use DHCP with my many client systems except on public hotspots. The criteria for using DHCP is not many clients, but rather unknown clients coming by and leaving again every then and when.

Which is easier to install the Access Point?or better?Is it easier to install it on a DHCP network or a Static IP Network? Please let me know because I'm still having a hard time getting around assigning the device an ip adress.

If you use static IPs and know which IPs are in use and which IPs are still free, then it's easier to use a static IP for the AP. You select a free IP and assign it.
If you use DHCP even for stationary devices and you don't care about IPs currently in use, then it's easier to use dynamic IP for the AP, too. You let DHCP assign a free IP and have to find out this assigned IP in order to be able to connect to the AP.
