Modifications and Bug Fixes
Bug Fixed
1. Fixed the WPA2 Security (KRACKs) Vulnerability.
2. Fixed the bug in resolving some specific domains when the router works as DNS server.
New Features/Enhancement
1. Added SMBv2 support in the USB sharing.
2. Improved router's performance on the 2.4G wireless network.
Please can TP-LINK make available firmware update for UNiversal version.

Bought this router and I think this is was mistake... Have 100Mbs internet on wifi 2.4ghz get 22mbs and 5ghz 45mbs on wire lan wan 90~95mbs

No firmware for EU version. Testing testing is what they say but I think TPlink does not care anymore.LeTuVis wrote

fyi, the firmware is finally available.
It's still invisible on the hungrian site, but you can grab it from french/german/uk site...
dated back by a generous 3 months (180305) :))))
The file itself must be the same EU version though the URLs are slightly different:

Upgraded today, at first it seems to be less stable than previous version, my internet connection dropped 2 times already.
That might also be a coincidence, and it's likely that only my ISP's ipv4 DNS server is down, as it still worked on ipv6.
Switched to another DNS provider anyway and rebooted, I'll see what happens.
