Dear TP-link,

 

I have Omada Controler in version 3.0.5 on windows and I want updating with the version 3.2.1.

How I can do ?

Do you have an explanatory documentation ?

It will be very easy for you to update the Controller. Let me tell you how to upgrade the Omada Controller on Windows OS.

 

1. Download the latest version of Controller from the following website:

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/eap-controller/#Controller_Software

2. Please backup the configuration of you Controller before you upgrade it. Just to prevent configuration loss during upgrade.

3. Close the current Omada Controller. Then double click the new Controller you download and install it. After you install it successfully on your PC, that means you have upgraded the Omada Controller successfully. 

Note: When you close the old Omada Controller and upgrade it, the EAPs may disconnect from the Controller for a while.

What do you mean by close the old omada ? I shutdown the service ?

Yes, when the old Omada Controller is running, we cannot upgrade new version.
