Model: EAP225
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 2.7.0 Build 20200113 Rel. 38287(4555)

Hi,

When i try to connect with the Omada app to my standalone EAP225 i get an error message:

Operation Failed

Please check network

connection and try again.

I can connect from a browser. Any idea why the app can't connect?

edit: not only Android app, iOS app is the same. Topic title edited.

Okay i found the issue. It's VLAN related. My EAP itself is on VLAN10 (as configured by switch and main router) but wireless clients are on VLAN20 (as configured by EAP, switch and router).

My firewall is configured to grant permission to some VLAN20 clients to connect to VLAN10 devices. This is working as intended, i can reach the web based management page of the EAP on VLAN10 from my tablet and phone which are both on VLAN20. But somehow it doesn't work for the Omada app. As soon as i disable VLAN20 on the EAP and reconnect my devices to get a VLAN10 IP from my main router i can connect to the EAP with the Omada app.
