Omada 225 or 245
Hi
currently running 2 external 225 access points, one set up wirelessly and 1 internal 225 access point
i am looking at buying two more access points, is there any advantage to the 245 over 225, I see 245 doesn't support mesh but I won't need that
does the 245 give better range or just faster speed
regards
Fergin

From the spec on tplink website, it seems the only difference is the speed and ethernet ports. 245 has a faster Signal Rate and one additional ethernet port.
The EAP225 and EAP245 are both indoor APs, no big difference in antennas (245 has ), so I don't think 245 gives a better range.

For me, I prefer to 225 instead of 245, 'cause my wireless clients support 867 Mbps at most, 1300M is kind of useless for my current clients.

@Fergin Most people probably have more than one unit, if you have a 2x2 and a 1x1 unit, for example, you will be able to utilize all three streams on EAP245, so more streams network faster if you have many units.
as this picture shows.
