Dear @Deadcanary,
I am looking for an external wifi bridge to work between 2 buildings about 30m apart. 1 unit would be connected to a modem router and the other to a WAP with 4 ethernet ports which has yet to be purchased. What are your suggestions
For your inquiry, it is recommended to use two Pharos CPE products to extend the WiFi signal from one location to another.
Here is an example for your reference. https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1226/
Take CPE210 for example, the setup could be like:
modem router ---- 1st CPE210 in AP mode )))((( 2nd CPE210 in Client mode ---- WAP )))((( wireless clients.
Note: "----" means ethernet cable connection, ")))(((" means wireless connection;
In the setup above, please make sure you have a clear line of sight between the two CPE210, no obstacles.
