I have a tp-link TL-SG2210P switch, and i have configured it`s ip address 192.168.1.2, and default gateway as 192.168.1.1

somehow i can reach my pc ip address being 192.168.1.33 but i cannot reach the default gateway. i havent changed anything else other than the 

ip address of the management switch, all ports are on vlan 1.

 

does someone know were the issue is stemming from.

When you connect your PC to your network through the switch, do you have Internet access? What's the IPv4 default gateway obtained on the PC? Are you able to ping the default gateway on the PC? How about ping the switch's management IP 192.168.1.2?
