Olá, alguém sabe me informar a difença entre configurar Virtual Servers x Port Triggering?

1. Port Forwarding( Virtual Servers ) requires a fixed intranet endpoint IP address to be set, Port Triggering offers more flexibility as there is no need to specify a specific intranet endpoint IP address, the gateway will automatically log it when it is triggered.
2. The external ports in Port Forwarding are always open, whereas the external ports in Port Triggering are only open after the trigger.
3. From a configuration point of view, Port Forwarding requires the configuration of the IP address and port of the internal server and the port of the external address, while Port Triggering only requires the configuration of the port of the Outbound flow (triggered port) and the port of the Inbound flow (forwarded port).
4. Port Forwarding is generally used when a fixed device/Server on the intranet needs to use a specific application/Service Port, while Port Triggering is generally used when there are multiple devices on the intranet that need to use the same application/Service Port at different times.
*Port Triggering also allows only one device to use the same Application/Service Port at the same time, and cannot be used by multiple devices at the same time.
The above is for reference only.
