What is a remote subnet mean? What numbers do I input in that field?

On the page you have provided you can see a question mark icon, actually click on it and a detailed explanation will appear inside： Specify a remote network. (It's always the IP address range of LAN on the remote peer of VPN tunnel.) It's the combination of IP address and subnet mask.
