Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.9.3 Build 20210914 Rel.39903

I am currently running the OC200 controller, TL-R605 router, EAP620 (2) EAP225-Outdoor AP's and a TP-Link unmanaged 16 port POE switch. I setup a couple of VLANs and Wireless VLANs but I can not get the internet to work with those VLANs. Can someone please provide information or setting that I am missing? Thank you

VLANs need to be set throughout the network, both on the router and on the EAP, and the EAP's uplink port needs to be set to a tagged VLAN.

Based on your information, it is actually difficult to define the problem; what is the exact topology in your network?

For example where the switch is connected？
And how exactly are you configured?


All I can think of to note is that the EAP uplink port needs to be Tagged VLAN.

@Virgo i have a basic tp-link smart switch, note: (its not a jetstream switch, which is compatible with omada controller), i have all my Access Points and devices connected to it.

This is the basic network typology, currently i have my Guest And Main Wifi Networks on same subnet, i would like to seperate them but when i add a VLAN to a Wifi network, it dosnt have internet connection and also the DHCP server dosnt give out the IPaddress.

What switch are you using, you need to make sure it can deal with vlan tagging?

 

Most basic switches can't so you might find they are not passing traffic to APs
