Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1

I'm trying to figure out how to share an AirPrint printer across multiple VLANs.

My setup has 3 VLANS:

  • Primary (McFly)

  • IoT (Hal)

  • Guest (Maria)

Each VLAN has a wireless SSID of the same name. McFly is 5ghz only, and the others are both.

Currently, my printer is on Hal and not visible from the other networks, namely McFly. I tried creating a port forwarding rule exposing port 5353, but I still do not see it.

Any guidance or direction would be very helpful.

@JFLOYD

If your ER605 is the latest firmware version, I remember that it supports setting up multi networks, or what they call VLAN interfaces, in which case the printer can communicate with two other VLANs, even though it is assigned to an IP address in certain VLAN.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.
