Model: EAP660 HD
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.1 Build 20200724 Rel. 57531(4555)

Hi All,

I just bought the EAP660 HD and I am planning to use via POE attached to a switch TP-LINK TL-SG1016PE ( Easy Smart 8 POE+ with 30W max per port ).

Unfortunately upon connecting the AP to the switch I can see that the ETH speed is negotiated at 100MF rather than 1000MF ( Yellow blinking light rather than green ).

If I power the AP with its own power adapter and using the same eth cable on a non POE port the speed is negotiated correctly at 1000MF so it seems that the issue is only happening when the EAP is powered via POE.

Just to give you more details I can see from the switch the following POE info :

Port PoE Status PoE Priority Power Limit (0.1w-30.0w) Power(w) Current(mA) Voltage(v) PD Class Power Status
Port 6 Enable High Class 4 7.0 132 53.1 Class 4 ON

The switch has 30W max per port and 150W total, at the moment I only have one more device attached.

Does anyone else having the same issue?

Is it something wrong with the EAP or am I missing something?

-Thanks

The port rate on this switch is auto-negotiated, just to confirm with you, are you using the same client to measure it?

Have you tried switching to a different port on the switch? Get the same result?
You may try to reboot the switch to test.

If you actually used speedtest (website) on this client PC what was the speed? Download speed and the link speed.

Thanks for your cooperation and patience.
