Model: EAP660 HD
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.5

Hey I am a novice with networking and I am trying to set up a VLAN for the smart home devices I have.

My current setup:

ISP -- Modem -- pfSense Router/Firewall (running in a VM) -- TP Link SG105E switch -- PC, NAS, EAP660HD, etc.

I have configured the following SSIDs on the AP

 * wifi-1 (VLAN disabled)

 * wifi-2 (VLAN 20)

I have also set up pfSense as follows:

* LAN (eth0) DHCP server for 192.168.2.1/24 subnet

* VLAN20 (eth0 with VLAN tag 20) DHCP server for 192.168.20.1/24 subnet

Can someone help with the configuration of the Switch please? I am pretty sure this is where I am going wrong.

@mattmaestro

You just need to make the same VLAN settings on the switch, noting that the port on this switch that is down-linked to the EAP is set to tagged and the down-linked device that cannot handle VLAN data, such as a PC, is set to untagged.
The port on the switch that is connected to your router is set to tagged and will be OK.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.
