I recently got an ER605 and a TL-GS2008P switch. I have 1.2 gig service from my ISP that runs to a cable modem with four ports: one 2.5gig, and three 1gig. I am running a mesh wifi in AP mode downstream from there. I want to be able to utilize the whole 1.2gig of the service but the ER605 has 1gig ports. If this works I may be looking at upping that to 2gig service in the future.  I have been trying to connect the LAN on the ER605 to the 2.5gig port on the modem and then port 2 on the ER605 to the first 1gig port on the modem. I moved the port to the WAN'LAN over to a WAN configuration and gave it a different MAC address. I am a little lost at this point with what to do next. Any pointers to someone who figured this out would be appreciated. That modem is also a wifi router but I have put it into bridge mode and the wifi is off. Would bridge mode kill the other ports on the modem? Am I coming at this from the wrong angle?

  @Kay214

Both versions of the ER605 top out at a NAT throughput of around 950ish MBit/sec, regardless of how many and what capacity WAN connections are fed into it, so what you want to do isnt possible in a throughput sense
