Model: ER7212PC
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.1 Build 20221106 Rel.81436

Just bought this router after all the great specs and promises just to be let down.

The list of feature is amazing, but I should know better. Already purchased a couple of VPN routers some time ago just to find out that they did not provide multiple DHCP servers.

In this particular router I still haven't figured out how to define VLANs.

I want to assign different VLANs to different ports and leave one as trunk. Also, each VLAN should have its own range of IPs.

Everything that I have tried has failed.

There is no documentation (afaik).

I am afraid to ask: is it possible or should I get rid of it?

  @Metis

this issue is now resolved with firmware version 1.0.3. I have installed, and I am finally able to assign a different PVID per router port, enabling me to run a few separate VLANs

  @Metis Got a quick answer from their support team.

This router accepts untagged native VLAN in all ports.

Other VLANs are passed in tagged mode only.

This means that if this router only makes sense when combined with other switches and access points.

Not much sense if used as a standalone.

  @Metis , this issue is also discussed here as a proposed feature. Please, vote for it, and it might help convince these guys to implement it and stop advertising this as a 3-in-1 product

Thank you
