Hi all,

in this KB Article is written :

(2) AI Roaming is a TP-Link self-developed AI algorithm based on 802.11k/v Fast Roaming, newly added on Omada Controller v4.3.5 and later version, which takes effect only when the managed EAP device firmware is adapted to Controller v4.3.5 and later version.

How can i check whether a device supports ai roaming? In particular i'm deciding between the EAP653 and the EAP615-Wall. According to some comments on the Internet, the latter apparently doesn't support it. However, I haven't found anything in the official specs that suggests this or not. But maybe these posts are old and in the meantime support was patched in through updates.

Thank you!

From my knowledge, the latest firmware of EAP615 wall is adapted controller v5.5, it should support the AI roaming according to the below literal meaning:

newly added on Omada Controller v4.3.5 and later version, which takes effect only when the managed EAP device firmware is adapted to Controller v4.3.5 and later version.

I usually go through their Firmware Changelogs to see what features have been added to the devices I'm looking at.  I'm a tech geek, so i don't mind.

But I don't think there is an easy way of doing this...
