Hello,

I have a network with  2 Deco M4 and I want to extend it to Outdoor.

The question is:

On Deco, I have 2 SSID. Will I be able with CPE210 to Extend or Repeat both SSID?

THank you

Hi  @NikolasN

Yes. We can enable Multi-SSID function on the CPE210's interface:

@Vincent-TP thank you for the reply.

I do not want to add new SSID's. I want to extend the existing SSID's of Deco to the CPE210. Is this possible?

Hi  @NikolasN

As for my understanding, that's basically the same thing.

For most kinds of clients, mobile phones, will only display one wifi network on the wifi list if the two wifi networks are the same(both SSID and password).

That is to say, you just need to configure the wifi network same as Deco's.

BTW, CPE210 only supports 2.4G.

  @Vincent-TP Thank you.

I will purchase one CPE210 and I will test it.

Hi  @NikolasN

If you haven't buy a CPE210 yet, I would like recommend EAP225-outdoor, not CPE210.

EAP225-outdoor is dual-band, and also support M.ulti-SSID.

The most important is: EAP225-outdoor is built with omni-direction antenna, while the CPE210 antenna is only Beam Width: 65° (H-Plane) / 40° (E-Plane).

Yes, you can use the CPE210 to extend both SSIDs. Just configure it in repeater/bridge mode and ensure by  halloween squishmallows it’s set up to handle multiple SSIDs from your Deco M4 network.
