Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.31.3 Build 20240620 Rel.80383

Hi I have 9 Omada Access Points, AC650 Outdoors, AC1800 Indoors, and AC6000 Indoors. I set up 8 SSIDs for 2.4Ghz as its a Hotel with solid concrete walls with plenty steel built decades ago, and each one is set to a certain area to make it easier to connect. I also have a single SSID for the whole place if they dont want to choose. I have no 5Ghz enabled as it wont push through these walls and the AP keeps steering people to 5Ghz over 2.4Ghz (even though band steering is not enabled in the controller).

However, when I tried to add a 9th SSID it says 8 is the limit. Is this for real?

Note, I am not using 8 per Access Point, just 2 - the general one and the area specific one.
However It wont let me add any more SSID either way.
Any ideas of how to get around this?

Thanks.

 Hi @BahamasTech

Currently, one wireless band supports up to 8 SSIDs. If you are using dual-band EAP, such as EAP225, you can create 16 SSIDs at most.
