Hello

The problem is that some Android mobile phones connect to the TP-Link EAP245(eu) v4 access point and correctly get the IP from DHCP, but cannot access the Internet.

There are two EAP245(eu) v4 devices in this network, and Windows DHCP is responsible for IP allocation, and the DHCP server and access points are connected to the Cisco management switch.

iPhone mobile phones are connected to the access point without any problems and receive the correct IP address and access the Internet.

But in most Android phones and generally Samsung, after connecting and receiving the correct IP from DHCP, they do not have access to the Internet, and in the Wi-Fi connection section of the phone, next to the SSD, a message without Internet is displayed.

Hi  @m03tfa

This issue could be due to a variety of reasons. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Check the DHCP Server: Ensure that the DHCP server is properly configured. It should have enough IP addresses to assign to all devices.

  2. Check the Network Security Settings: Some Android devices may have issues connecting to certain types of security protocols. Try changing the WPA  to WAP/WPA2 and see if that resolves the issue.

  3. Update Firmware: Ensure that your APs and Android devices are running on the latest firmware. Sometimes, connectivity issues can be resolved by updates.

  4. Factory Reset: If all else fails, try doing a factory reset on the APs and then reconfigure them.
