I'm trying to connect an AXIS camera to my NVR-2008, but it's not working.
The NVR recognizes it, but the password isn't accepted.
I've tried changing the AXIS camera's username to admin, but it still doesn't work.

Has anyone been able to connect an AXIS camera to a VIGI NVR using an ONVIF or RTSP connection?
I'd like to know how to do this.

Based on the description, it seems to be a problem with the username and password.

How to add third-party cameras to VIGI NVR via RTSP

Hey Pascal.
Thanks to you guys I have already managed to solve this problem.

The important is the RTSP stream URL in this method .

For reference I will share the URL that allowed my NVR to connect to the AXIS camera.

rtsp://<ip>/axis-media/media.amp?videocodec=h264

　 →username and password was NOT needed!!  orz

  @YMT hi, have you try rtsp methode ? I have same issue like you with axis cam. I haven't yet try rtsp because i need to connecte a monitor on nvr.
