Model: VIGI NVR1016H
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.2

Hello,

I have many ONVIF (Tplink Tapo) cameras that are behind the router. The ONVIF access with my older NVR was done by port forwarding. When adding camera to the NVR i was able to specify the ONVIF port and RTPS port. And that worked very well.

When manually adding ONVIF camera to NVR1016H i am only able to specify ONVIF port.

Can you please help me with an alternative where i can specify RTPS port?

Hi @Frex

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Is your NVR connected to the WAN directly which means your NVR gets a public IP address on its ingress?

If you aren't getting a public IP address on your NVR but on your modem/router, you should port forward on these devices. But you should be clear in the direction of how RTSP works.

Hello,

NVR, local ip and is connected to the internet via the router.
Cameras, local ip is connected to the internet via the router. With an IP forwarding as shown in the image below
See the NVR system layout below.

As it is now in NVR1016H I can only enter 60101. But I have to be able to
enter in NVR for example ports: 60101 for ONVIF and 50101 for RTPS.
This setup worked with my old NVR where i could specify public-ip, port 60101 and 50101.

As you have port forwarding, it is not a problem with the NVR not able to identify the port number.

Do you mean that the NVR does not offer you the option to customize the RTSP port?

I think you can as I recall you have this option. Manually add a camera.

If you have anything to show, that'd be great.

Hello and thnaks for thr reply.

Having the option to specify both ONVIF port and RTSP is exactly what I mean.

The menu to add a camera manually on the NVR1016H only offers the option to specify "Managment port" which I believe is ONVIF port.
However, the menu does not offer the possibility to specify the RTSP port. See the image (Fig 1) below.

You mean this turns grey and you cannot modify it. Is that what you mean?

No, that field for ONVIF port is ok. But there is no field for RTSP port.

No, that field for ONVIF port is ok. But there is no field for RTSP port.

You should change that in the "Add device" phase.

Have you tried that? That option is not available? Screenshot?

There are no other options in add device.

Only option is 'Add Manually'.
