Model: EAP110-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 5.0.7 Build 20230410 Rel. 69645(4555)

I have the device set as AP. Every time the power goes out, it looses it's config. I've tried it with the power injector it came with, and also PoE from switch. It's not that. IT just ditches it's config.

How do I make it keep config when it reboots?

Yes the EAP was completely resetting to defaults. SSID, login, the lot.

It is now completely faulty. Green light comes on but nothing more. no comms. Tried manual reset, but the light doesn't even start to flash.

TP-link support told me to send it back to Amazon, which I have now started the process.

Don;t think it's very weather proof. The front sliding panel has no seal and the rubber cable seal is tiny. With the weather we have had recently, I think the water has got in (the label inside is smuded and water damaged).

Hi  @gromits24

Normally, a reboot won't let EAP lose its config.

How did you notice that the config had been lost? Does the SSID change to the default one, TP-Link_xxxx? Or by other phenomena?

Is the firmware version of the EAP the latest one?

Please also try power on the EAP with a shorter cable.
