Hi,

I am using MC100CM media converter for one of my hobby project.

Its connected between my two ethernet ports. On both side am using MC100CM.

If I disconnect the optical cable during the commincation, am not getting any error from the module. Why ?

Ideallly we should get LWIP error ?

Thanks,

Chandan N

Hi @Chandann

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Ask your switch vendor.

The Media Converter or any of the accessories are not involved in any message/log system.

They are hardware and you can consider them as a dummy device.
