Under Consideration [Feature Enhancement] Client Type and Vendor
The new controller features (5.14.32.56) in the beta release are fantastic.
A few suggestions regarding the client Type and vendor (which are a great new feature that I had asked for - THANK-YOU!)
1. Allow additional types to be added, or alternatively add in more corporate types rather than residential. Some would include
- IP Card Reader or IP Access Control
- IP Relay
- IoT
2. Allow Vendors to be added
3. Allow the Batch configuration to set the client type and vendor (I have 298 clients I need to set, with really 4 types, Card Readers/IP Access Control, Intercoms, Relays and HVAC)
4. Change the Icon for the IPC to look more like an enterprise camera (e.g. Hikvision Turret or Dome camera) rather than a home camera (minor)

Please allow custom entries in the Type and Vendor fields. Like others have said it's not realistic for tp-link to maintain a list of all possible vendors. Also maybe allow a custom icon for the client or have a ready to go list of common device icons to choose from.
The Type list should have: Phone, Security Camera, Access Point, Exercise Bike/Machine, Streaming Media Adapter (like an Amazon FireTV stick), and Smart Switch. These seem super obvious for common household device types.

- NAS
- Update the vendor list to include
