Feature Request: Include "Prohibit WiFi Sharing" in EAP225-Outdoor Firmware Update
Hello Good Day
I would like to kindly request that future firmware updates for the EAP225-Outdoor include the "Prohibit WiFi Sharing" feature. I’ve seen a reply in a recent thread that this feature is not currently planned for WiFi 5 EAPs, which includes the EAP225 models.
However, I hope this can be reconsidered, especially since many users here in the Philippines rely on the EAP225-Outdoor for their networking needs. Adding this functionality would greatly help in maintaining network security and preventing unwanted access via Android and iOS WiFi sharing features.
Thank you for your continued support and consideration of user feedback.

@Vincent-TP I would like to know if you will be adding this option to the EAP225 Outdoor. There are still many of these devices on the market, and vendors continue to sell them. I currently have 75 EAP225 Outdoor devices on three OMADA SDN Essentials controllers. Please take this suggestion into account and implement this option in the next firmware update.
