Model: EAP615-Wall
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I want to use the EAP615-Wall - Wifi access point, but not power it from a POE Switch.

What stand alone tp-link POE Power bricks can i use ?

I have a few spare ones hanging around, will they be compatible ?

PSU Model no's are:   TL-POE2412G (24V)   &   POE4824G (48V)

if not what ones would be compatible?

TIA

Hi @JonnieBeGood,

Unfortunitly, it doesn't look like the POE injectors you have will work.  The ones you listed are passive but the EAP-615 Wall requires an active (802.3at or 802.3af) injector.  If you want to use a TP-Link injector, the POE160S will work, but other brands that support POE+ (802.3at 30W) would also be compatable.  Technically, you could use a 15W injector (802.3af), but the POE port on your AP wouldn't work due to insufficient power.
