Feeling like I got ripped off.
I went with the new Festa gear for upgrading my home network since my wife and I both work from home.
The available features are lackluster and I can't believe there is no QoS function?
Is this product line already being discontinued? Because it sure seems that nobody cares about updates.

Yes, FR365 has no QoS. If you are seeking a gateway that supports QoS or more features, you many consider Omada Gateways.
We don't get advanced notice of when or whether there will be new firmware updates for this model. The way we do firmware is that we only release a new version when there is a bug/flaw/vulnerability to patch or a new feature to add, but since I am not in software development, I can't give you a clear answer. I suggest you keep an eye on the official website for any new firmware updates if there would be any.
