I have configured motion detection off because I am basically using Uman detection and Intrusion features. So Motion detection turned out to be quite redondant by recordind the same clips.

 

Nevertheless, I am still getting Motion detection events triggering the recoding to the NVR, as you can see from the screenshot below:

 

I believe this is not right, as Motion detection is disabled:

 

Thanks for everyone for explaining what is happening and for TP-Link R&D staff to look at this issue.

Thank you for your post. Could you please let us know the exact model of your camera? Next, open the Motion Detection settings and make sure the Motion Detection toggle is turned OFF. Also, please verify that any motion-detection events you see were logged after you disabled the feature, rather than being old entries that were simply retained.If you confirm the issue persists, kindly export and send us all the erroneous event records. In the meantime, we recommend upgrading the camera to the latest firmware version.
