Can I view recordings/live stream on phone with a NVR1108H

Looking to buy a NVR1108H. But I can't find information on how I could either see the live camera feed or recordings on my phone when I am away from the wi-fi, the cameras and the nvr is on. Is it possible to install/side-load applications like tailscale on to this NVR? Would any ONVIF compliant app somehow connect with this NVR - I can't foresee this happening - but want to understand how everyone's doing this.

This NVR has its own management app; you can use the VIGI app to manage both the NVR and the cameras. After binding the devices to the cloud, you can view the live footage anytime.How to get started with the TP-Link VIGI app
