I like the hotspot local user authentication for our hotspot and networks login.

 

Its been a very nice feature and we have been enjoying using it.

 

Am just hoping that we could also have IP based assignments for user along with mac-binding.

 

Currently its only mac-binding users. We have some use cases that we need to keep the users with a specific IP that allows the users to access certain resources. But with a different IP cannot.

 

We are doing this currently by dhcp reservation but the problem with dhcp reservation is that if the same device is used by a different user he gets the same IP and able to access the same resources even if his user is not intended to do so.

 

We will appreciate if we can get IP bound to user for local user based authentication.
