Hi @theruck,

I'm facing a similar issue with my VIGI C540-4G. The camera detects the microSD card, but formatting consistently fails at around 92%.

I'm using a SanDisk Ultra 128GB card and have already tested it on my Mac, where it appears to be working normally. My camera is running firmware version 2.2.1 Build 251218 Rel.70829n.

Did you find any solution or workaround for this issue before returning the camera? If so, could you please share what fixed it?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,  @Sunil_S_H

Thank you for posting here. It appears that the issue you are encountering is different from the issue raised by the original poster. To help us properly troubleshoot for you, please provide the following information:

1.Have you tested other SD cards on your camera to check if they can be formatted normally?
2.Have you tested whether your current SD card can be formatted successfully on another camera?
3.Was your camera working properly before this issue occurred? Did this problem arise after you upgraded the camera's firmware?

the only solution is to return the camera because this firmware is incredibly bad. just buy something that works and never look back. this product is a useless dead end as it fails to do basic operations like card formatting or auto file cleanup. it is not card vendor dependent and everybody in the world knows it, yet you get stupid requests to try other cards other vendors just to get the feeling that your problem is being taken care of. it is not. buy a reolink camera
