Hello team,

 

I've just found an issue with Omada APP on iOS, app version 5.2.18.

 

I do have 2 Wireguard VPN servers configured on ER8411:

- SiteToSite Wireguard VPN server which shows in the app under Settings>VPN>Wireguard

- Client To Site Wireguard VPN server (configured on laptop) which does NOT shows at all in the iOS APP, I've checked under Settings>VPN>VPN as well under Settings>VPN>Wireguard. I asume that it should be seen under Settings>VPN>VPN.

 

The issue is that from mobile app I can see only one Wireguard server, ClientToSite can not be seen.

 

ER8411 is on 1.4.0 beta firmware.

Thank you for posting here.

If you want to configure Client-to-Site WireGuard VPN on the Omada app, you can refer to the Site-to-Site VPN configuration steps and configure the VPN Server on the Omada app.

For VPN client settings, you can configure WireGuard on your mobile phone or computer to achieve the Client-to-Site VPN effect.

Therefore, whether you configure Client-to-Site or  Site-to-Site, you only need to configure the VPN Server on the app.

I'm still little confused, in Omada web app, under VPN we have 3 options (VPN Server, VPN Client and Site-to-Site VPN)

What's the difference if I configure Wireguard VPN under "VPN Server" or under "Site-to-site VPN" ? I do have both now.

 

I see that under VPN Server option I can generate qr codes and configs for my clients, under site-to-site vpn i have to configure clients manually.

 

Another limitation, I think, is that now I do have VPN Server configured from web Omada Controller interface but I can't find it anywhere in the Omada app on iOS, nothing under "VPN" or "Wireguard: submenus.
