Firmware Version:

Hi, our office have two EAP 245 access point.
Suddenly on Monday morning, these two APs cannot connect to internet. But I can access wifi using in these two APs SSID.
There are a TP-LINK router TL-ER6020 to be a default gateway and also have a juniper web device manager in the network.

On the other side, I also trying to use another router to share wifi. The result is same (can connect to wifi but no internet)

Could you help me how to fix the problem. Because no wifi to internet in office now. Thanks~

Erik216, what about testing your network?

  • Check the gateway and DNS settings your wireless clients get from the DHCP server. Do you get valid IPs for the gateway/DNS? If not, your DHCP server doesn't work.
  • If it does work, check the routing using ping. Can you ping the router? If not, there is no link to the router.
  • If you can reach the router, check whether you can ping an Internet site using an IP, e.g. IP 8.8.8.8. If not, call your ISP, your uplink could be down.
  • If you can reach this IP (it's Google's public DNS), check DNS name resolution using dig or nslookup. Can you resolve www.google.com into an IP? If not, your DNS has been screwed up.
  • If names are being resolved, routes are up and there is connectivity to the router and the ISP, you can reach the Internet.
