I USE GUEST NETWORK TO OFFER FULL OMADA HOTSPOT TO CLIENT....

THE PROBLEM IS, DESPITE THE FACT THAT GUEST NETWORK IS ENABLED, CLIENTS CONNECTED CAN STOP OR REDUCE EACH OTHER BANDWIDTH ON THE NETWORK USING SOFTWARES AS " SELFISHNET, NETCUT OR EVEN EVILLIMITER ".....

I NEED HELP PLEASE, ANY CONFIGURATION  I CAN DO IN ORDER TO STOP IT?  I REALLY NEED HELP AS PEOPLE ARE PURPOSELY RUINING MY BUSINESS BY BLOCKING MY CLIENTS.... PLEASE HELP

  @btx is it possible to run a separate network for each client? what i mean is: one client can reduce the other bandwidth with those apps, and i thought guest network can stop it...

client isolation used to block them seeing each other, so the redirecting do not work... now you can see even the number of people in the network and even redirect bandwidth.

i wished i would have any configuration that can help stop it...  my wish is to run full omada network without any other router ....

  @Saamoss

I didn't see that you mentioned Rate limits and Traffic limits?  Have you tried both these options?

Did you try vouchers with 1 use rate enabled?

  @KimcheeGUN yes i have rate limits activated, but it doesnt stop those apps from reshaping the bandwith at the lowest.... just to ruin my business, they intentionally reduce clients bandwidth so they can get annoyed and leave.... i just want any means to block those apps from working...

  @btx

Exactly-  I think he is wanting Dynamic VLANs.  Which is a big vendor's option.  MikroTik is the most affordable and has that option, BUT good luck with that nasty GUI.

You may consider some type of IPS appliance.  I would consider configuring an OpnSense firewall and running IPS on the internal LAN.  Of course when I say IPS, you would need to select the right category to make what you need.

  @btx AM IN AFRICA, and everyone is running WiFi hotspots around....so ruining yours means clients will go to the next available WiFi hotspot with no problem
