I have OC200, Omada router and 2 switches. I have 3xEAP660 and 1xEAP773.

 

SOMETIMES IT WORKS BUT 90% of time NOT.

 

The issue is that devices connected to EAP773 are "isolated". They can't ping any other devices connected to same AP and even LAN devices in the same network (or any other).

If I connect same device to EAP660 then it all works and I can ping device and device has access to devices on local network.

As soon as I switch back to EAP773 device no longer can ping any device in network (internet works).

 

This randomly fixed itself after 1 reboot last week. But I needed to disconnect power to switch and after reboot it doesn't work again. I tried rebooting multiple times.

 

I downloaded device info file. If anyone from support contacts me I'll send it to them.

Could you please try swapping the locations of the EAP773 and EAP660? If EAP773 works well after swapping, the problem is that the port used to connect to EAP773 has been banned.Please exchange the unit, not the cord. Besides, how do you power the EAP773 ? How about using the DC adaptor to power it?Please try and compare the performance.

  @Hank21 What do you mean by banned?

It is powered by PoE from SG2210XMP-M2 switch. It says it is using 10-13W.
The performance is perfect. I can get 1400 Mbps on it.

When I plug it into EAP660 place it is the same. Sometimes it works sometimes not.

 

Devices have internet access 100% of time. But 80% of time devices can't connect to other devices on the network.

 

When plugging EAP660 in place of 773 it works perfectly.

"Banned" refers to the possibility that the port's configuration prevents it from interacting with the controller.Do you reset the EAP773 to its factory settings before switching those two access points? If the EAP773 still won't work with the same settings, I prefer to believe that it has a hardware problem.To replace it, you can try contacting your local support center.This unit typically uses 24.05 W of power; if 10–13 W is insufficient, you can try adjusting the poe settings on the port that connects to it.
