Hi all,

I hope someone can help me, I wish to extend my network to provide WiFi to a patio area for two reasons. 1) I would like to sit out with a cold one and surf the web, 2) and most importantly, I just baught a Robot Mower that needs WiFi to update its firmwear which it will do when it docks in the charger. I have a router (obviously) which is connected to a patch panel. This feeds cat  cables that run through the house to RJ45 socket outlets The issue I have is that I only have one outlet in each room and the one I need to extend from is being used. Can I use an LS1005G switch to provide additional RJ45 outlets in the room with only one outlet? I then want to use a TP-Link EAP110-Outdoor 300Mbps Wireless N Outdoor Access Point, 24V Passive PoE to provide the WiFi signal...will this work?

Help please as this networking stuff is a complete mystery!!!

Thanks
