Is the EAP772 v1 still current?
Hi,
I just had an EAP772 AP get stuck in adopting after being flaky. I rebooted the entire system and upgraded the controller firmware. I went to check the AP firmware and noticed it is on an old build from 20240801. I tried to update and it is on the latest version. I checked the EAP772 downloads page and v1 hasn't had an update yet V2.6 is on build 20250327. So my question, is the EAP772 v1 still supported with updates?

I sent a mail today to Omada support and got back a reply stating that reply EAP772(EU)_V1 is EOL and there will be no future firmware updates.
Also a link to https://static.tp-link.com/upload/manual/2025/202509/20250910/EOL%20List_Business_V6.0.pdf is included.
So we bought outdated hardware; that is not supported anymore. I bought mine dec 2024, so it is only 1 year old!

Yeah I purchased back in October 2024. I think I'll be trying to offload these and go with Ubiquiti.

@pendamos This is why TP-Link should get fined or banned. Drops support of a business product within a year. I had two when released (v.1). Such a waste of money and will never buy anything TP-Link again, personally or for business.

Thank you for the feedback and the new release.
I hope I get some time the next weeks to test this firmware.
But still a few questions are there:
1) Are all V2 features merged to V1 too?
2) Can you confirm that V1 gets the same support life time as V2? In other words, can you confirm that the PDF with EOL devices is not correct?
We still have a unsupported product if you cannot confirm (2)
Thanks in advanced for your answers
