How to configure backup device for gateway ER707-M2 ?
Want to purchase another ER707-M2 as a spare / backup device for my network as below to avoid existing ER707-M2 fail and cause whole network down.
1) How can I configure the backup device ( ER707-M2 )?
2) Is there any better plan to avoid existing ER707-M2 cause whole network down?
Thank you.

You can't configure a backup device, but it's a good idea to have a backup, put it on the shelf, if you need it then delete the old router from the controller,
set basic settings on the new one as lan ip wan ip if you have a fixed ip, then connect it to the network and adopt it into the site of the old router. It's probably a good idea to have basic config on the new one before you put it on the shelf so that it's faster to get the backup router adopted.
All settings you have configured in the site will be transferred to the new router so you will not lose any configuration.
