LAN DNS availability for ER706W(JP)
I purchased an ER706W in Japan, and I honestly didn't expect that the LAN DNS function would be missing. It seems to be supported in firmware versions for other regions, so when is it expected to be supported in the Japanese firmware?
This is a basic feature, and its absence is extremely inconvenient.
Omada controller: 6.1.0.19 (container ver.)
ER706W(JP) hw ver: 1.20
ER706W(JP) firmware: 1.1.12
No "LAN DNS" section found.

I apologize, just confirmed that wireless devices in Japan cannot upgrade to the EN firmware.
The firmware supporting LAN DNS is currently in preparation and is expected to be released at the beginning of next month.
Please wait patiently and keep an eye on the JP official website for updates. Thanks for your understanding.

@zodiaq I forgot to mention that I'm using arm64 container on Rock 5B. Could it be the root cause of this?

@zodiaq Try setting up a second LAN and let me know if the option appears. From some testing I've been doing it seems you cannot configure it with only one LAN.

@zodiaq After confirming with the team, it is a firmware limitation. However, you should be able to download the firmware from the EN site and apply it to your device.

Download the latest from this link here, and let me know if it fixes the issue (ensure you take a backup beforehand just in case; it should work but just best practices to do so).

Unfortunately, I cannot agree. The method suggested by NeilR_M (installing firmware for a different country onto JP hardware) did not work.
Ultimately, the LAN DNS feature is not implemented on the ER706W (JP). Even if you remove it from here, I cannot accept it without information on when this feature will actually be available for the ER706W (JP).
