My new C5400X drops the internet connection several times per day, showing an orange led while the connection is interrupted. I have already checked cables (installed new ethernet cable to the cable modem), firmware (up to date) and internet stability (I have been connected directly to the cable modem when the orange led shows up, having a stable connection). The systems log shows the following messages when connection is dropped and the orange led shows up:
