TL-R480T+ 100% CPU

Hi,
My TL-R480T+ always usage 100% of CPU
Always that a user start a download file heavy the CPU goes up to 100%.
The router stay very slow, almost impossible the access.
Before I using this router, we had a equal router but the version 7 and don't these problems.

The high CPU can be caused by many things. Like high traffic and some data that need to be processed by CPU.
I saw TP-Link has the new firmware for TL-R480T+, maybe you can try to upgrade it.

I updated for last firmware of my region (BR), but the problem is not resolved.
I can update of different region?
Last BR version is: 20180117
Version that available in EN: 20180926

As I knew, TL-R480T+ only has the (UN) version for all region. So you can update the firmware to 20180926.

Can you please confirm the following.
1. is DHCP switched on ?
2. What's is the IP range of the DHCP ? If it is switched on.
3. what is the number of client computers that are connected to this LB?
You can try switching the DHCP server off and check (in case there are a few clients this is relatively easy) This is a issue I faced with 64+ clients.
If nothing works, after upgrading the firmware, reset the LB and reconfigure it from bottom to top.

The TL-R600VPN has the same problem !
I have 300 megs wan to a network with 12 pcs and anything more stout, makes the TL-R600VPN crash.
On webadmin cpu at 100% charge, it is even difficult to load this webadmin, the product seems to be weak.
(Thiago, o TL-R600VPN tem o mesmo problema, tenho Vivo Fibra de 300 megas numa rede com 12 pcs e qualquer coisa mais parruda, faz o TL-R600VPN travar.
Vou no webadmin dele e ele está a 100%, inclusive é dificil até carregar este webadmin, o produto parece ser fraco.)

@thiago.ferreira HI, does anyone was able to fix CPU issue with TL-R480T, I bought one but CPU is almost 100% and its impossible to have internet access. This happened after enable the 4 wan ports to load balance 4 different internet access. It look was not design to support this. With just one user and not dhcp enable the cpu is almost 100% all the time.

This old post is out of date. It would be recommended to start a new thread to discuss the problem.
I bought one but CPU is almost 100% and its impossible to have internet access. This happened after enable the 4 wan ports to load balance 4 different internet access.
Please check the hardware and firmware version of the R480T+ router, ensure it is running with the latest firmware first.

@Fae i was updated firmware on lastest update, but still not working, cpu usage still high and impossible to bring the internet access to client, i stuck
