Model: EAP245
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 2.1.0 Build 20181107 Rel. 39421

Hi all,

I'm trying to understand how this port wokrs since there isn't much information about it (if any).

I have my EAP 245 V3 is receiving 3 networks, lets say PVID 1 and tagged VLANS 2 (Management AP IP is on this net) and 3

So supposedly Eth2 should get the same configuration as port 1? I ask because I conected a device who has an IP on corresponding PVID network but I can't access to it once it's connected to Eth2.

Thanks in advance,

Olivia

Updated: if I connect a laptop to Eth2 and configure it on the same segment as the PVID, I can only ping those devices in this network that are connected to this AP, but I can't access any other device that pass it.

Update 2: If I configure the device that's connected to Eth2 using a VLAN tag, then I can access devices that are reachable passing the AP.

Update 3: Got it working!!! smiley
My fault, I was tagging the PVID also as a VLAN tag, once I removed it, it worked!

Hi,

Good job!

BTW, the Second Gigabit Ethernet Port of EAP245v3 is for Bridging.

@forrest hello but there is an issue, when you connect a device thru this port you don't see it in Omada as client and in the map topology. The device properly work but it's invisible surprise
