Model: EAP320
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Dear Support,

I created a SSID for WifiTest in Omada controller and i deleted sfter we finish testing but until now there are still client connected to the SSID that already deleted. We already restart the controller and the server pc for EAP controller how many times but still SSID exist.   It means the AP is not updating the configuration from Omada controller.

Hope that u will address this problem.

Thanks,

Magenta

@Pascal Update the firmware of all AP in latest version first. Step what I did in Omada controller. 1. In Wireless Settings there is WLAN group (Default) in Default WLAN there is 3 SSID ( MPV-WiFi , MPV-CAM, ITSupport) and I deleted that all SSID. 2. Then I make another WLAN group name: (Magenta) I created 3 SSID also ( MPV-WiFi , MPV-CAM, ITSupport) 3. Deleted all the SSID and the (Magenta) WLAN Group name. 4. Now only Default WLAN Group is in the Controller and make same SSID( MPV-WiFi , MPV-CAM, ITSupport) - See all ap is configure , provisioning and connected status.

What's the version of your Omada Controller? We recommend you use the latest version.

Besides, do you try to reset the EAP? If not, please have a try.

@Joem042379 @forrest

What append if you ask a manual reconnect with the device that is still showed as connected to this deleted SSID ?
seems to be same issue than me
OC200 don't refresh the list of users or show obsolete state of connection.

@Pascal Even we disconnect devices after we scan the wifi still SSID is there and we can connect to that SSID.. how many time we reboot the AP and the controller.

@Joem042379

How about resetting the EAP on the Controller?

I guess there is something wrong when the configuration is issued, you can try to forget the AP on the Omada Controller,

You can try to forget the AP on the Controller, and check if the issue still exists, please tell us.

Note: If you forget the AP on the Controller, these AP will disconnect from the Controller for about one or two minutes.

@forest I will forget all the 400AP? then I will adopt again? and I will rename 1 by 1? is that a right procedure? we have schedule reboot for all ap.... and they are rebooted successfully so it means once u create a configuration in controller it must be updated all to the AP.. I tried also to assigned and change vlan ID to my existing SSID and it is also updated to the AP. My problem only is why the Old SSID is not deleted in the AP? if other configuration is updated to AP.... Hope u get my points...
