@Fae Any chance that other model switches will be supported in the future?  I would have thought the T2600 series would get support before the T1600, disappointing as I bought this switch right before all the SDN stuff started coming out, wish I would have gone with the T1600 if this one will never be gaining SDN support.

@jabolfh does it mean Omada SDN will never support TL-SG108PE?

Dear @Koboldo,

any news about the Firmware for the T1600G-52TS V4 ?

Sorry that I have no idea about the exact date of the firmware release. If there is any news, I'll update here.

@Fae is there any news on either TL-SG1016PE, TL-SG105E or TL-SG108PE  being supported on SDN?

I just bought the TL-SG1016PE so if not, is there an upgrade plan for me?

Thanks

Dear @Theuksbest,

I just bought the TL-SG1016PE so if not, is there an upgrade plan for me?

Sorry that there is no plan to support Omada SDN for the easy smart switches.

Dear @Theuksbest,

could you tell me what the SDN equivalent is to the TL-SG1016PE model I currently have please?

May I know your application scenarios? What's the purpose of managing the switch via the Omada SDN Controller?

If you just want a switch with 8 ports supporting the PoE+ standard and expect the switch to be managed by the Omada SDN Controller, then the following Omada switches are for your reference.

In addition, please kindly note that some advanced functions will be limited when the switch is managed by the Omada SDN Controller.

It's suggested to read the following FAQ to check the functions that can be configured on the controller, and verify whether you really need the Omada SDN Controller for your switch. https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2936/

@Fae thank you, application scenario is home. I like the traffic monitoring features the SDN seems to offer, i don't have any advance configurations really.

also I would need at least a 16 port gigabit PoE switch, I could make do with only 8 being PoE.

What do they jump from 10 to 22 port?
