Omada SDN Hardware Compatibility
Hello,
I was wondering whether the new omada sdn will support the current generation EAP245v3 and EAP225v3. Would it still be available self hosted or will it be cloud only?
Also will it support current jetstream switches such as the TL-SG1016PE, TL-SG3424P v1, or the T1500G-10MPS?
I'm looking to purchase a gigabit poe switch and I was wondering whether it would be worth it to buy a jetstream over a used one for the omada SDN.
Thanks!
Edit: Thanks for pinning the post admin, I am glad this post is helping others! I have edited the title to more accurately reflect what this post is in case any new posters confuse this for a general suppor thread. Thanks again!

@Pascal I agree and would love an answer to this. I purchased one recently due to the very deceiving model numbers t2600g-52ts(tl-sg3452) thinking this was Omada SDN compatible only to find out it isn't. I see no good reason that if the 1600 is supported that the 2600 shouldn't be. I've scheduled an RMA but would hate to send it back if TL is indeed going to support this on Omada, TP-Link please provide a response asap

I too have been deceived into purchasing a model that is not actually compatible with Omada SDN, though there is no explicit info, and every reference indicates otherwise.
- Omada SDN products page (here https://www.tp-link.com/pt/business-networking/all-omada/#omada-switch) indicates that model TL-SG3452 is compatible with Omada SDN;
- Business switches model info (here https://www.tp-link.com/pt/business-networking/managed-switch/t2600g-52ts/) indicates that this model is also called TL-SG3452;
- Product boxing confirms just what I said above, indicating that this model is indeed a TL-SG3452 (as seen in the next picture).
All this is extremely misleading, and now we're stuck with an equipment that I consider isn't what was advertised.
We can't simply return the item as it has been purchased at the end of last year, just before lockdown.

I there any possibility that the TP-Link T1600G-18TS (TL-SG2216) will get a firmware update for Omada Support?
Thanks

@Fae Any update on this -- will you support T1500G-10PS 2.0 as I have this switch but it just does not appear in the OC200 for adoption. I would like to enforce POE scheduling to turn off the EAP in one room on schedule but cannot do so without the POE switch being avail in the controller.

The SDN firmware for T1500G-10PS 2.0 has already been released, T1500G-10PS(UN)_V2_20200805
Please upgrade the firmware first for adoption with the controller.

I'm afraid that it's not on the roadmap.

Dear @Fae, will there be firmware updates to support the new features of Omada SDN 4.3.5 for the switches that already have been upgraded to support the controller.
Mainly the T1600G-28PS(UN) 3.0 and T1600G-28TS(UN) 3.0 .
Thank you beforehand.

Hi everyone. Is there any plan to add tl-sg108pe to the supported devices?
I have this PoE switch and devices connected to it are not being identified in my Omada network.
Thanks!
