Model: EAP225
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

Found a bug with the new controller, If the controller is stopped or removed one can usually login to the individual EAP's using the login info provided at setup, and then reset.  But that login does not work forcing to need to be reset by holding down the reset pin physically on the AP to regain access to them.

Hi @HPad,

I don't think that is a bug.  For OC-200 managed EAP's. if you try to go to the web url of an individual AP, you get an "error" message saying that the AP is managed through Omada and that you need to manage it there.

I was turning off the controller so I could reset them. But had to reset via the pin hole on the AP as it wasnt accpeting the login like it normally should

Hi Hpad,

Different from the old controller, the Device Account will be generated randomly by the SDN controller, which is not the same as the login account of SDN controller.

Please check the Device Account on the SDN controller before you stop it (Exit Directly), also you can change the Device Account as you like from there.

Actually if we Exit Directly from the Controller, that is, when the Controller is offline, we can reset the EAP from the EAP's web UI.frown
