Model: EAP225-Outdoor  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.20.0

I have ever seen the reviewed of eap-225 outdoor that showed me the max transmission power at 30 dBm. But after I bought one, My eap-225 have max at 23 dBm. My question is

1. is it possible to unlock my Eap225 to 30 dBm?

2. Any firmware can solve my problem ?

 

If someone have any ideas, Please suggest. Thanks in advance for everyone .

I'm afraid no. The Transmission Power should fully comply with the CE/FCC standard.

 

And you may check the transmission power of the EAP225-outdoor from the official website.

Hi @Poon,

 

It is possible to use after market antennas which might have more gain depending on your application and local radiated power restrictions.  Also be sure your firmware is correct for your country/region.
