Model: EAP225-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.7.0 Build 20200113 Rel. 35383

Seems like the 225 outdoor AP and ios14 don't like each other,

I can't get any ios14 devices to stay connected. They connect and then immediately disconnect. I've tried restarting the devices, forgetting the network and rejoining.

I have several EAP245 APs which are totally fine. The outdoor EAP225 isn't. All part of the same network, using normal settings.

Channel 36

and

Channel 1

I was using fast roaming and airtime fairness,  it I've disabled these and I don't run force dissociation or any limiting. Everything is up to date firmware wise.

I can't understand what might be different with the outdoor ap and ios14 - once it disconnects it won't even try and reconnect unless I do it manually.

@mackworth thanks for the info

I rebooted just the EAP225 outdoor and all is well.

Ive never had to reboot a single AP for months they are so stable. Thought I'd try it and voila, all is good again.

Curious what it could have been however.

@bp1000 My 225-outdoor is working in my setup with 2 other EAP245s and all the roaming options on.  I have had some weird wifi issues on iOS 14 in general where it seems to just stop working, but if I reconnect everything is fine.

Hi @bp1000,

Interesting,  I haven't seen any Wifi issues with my EAP225-OD and my XSM running 14 -- but I'm not outside a whole lot.  My EAP225V3's work just fine with 14.

I don't think it's related to IOS 14, since I have the same problem on Android...

I have OC200, 2x EAP245 v3, 1x EAP225 outdoor. When outside, my wifi would connect and disconnect more or less every second. A reboot of the AP seems to have solved it for now.

For me the problems started around the same time as I performed the upgrade of the EAP245 to the latest firmware (2.21.0, the one with the mesh function. Note: I don't use the mesh function). However, I don't see yet whether or how these could be related.
